@aemarielle et bien ça fait plaisir de voir ce genre de témoignage. On se fait pourrir par les fans de Twitter depuis de longs mois, on passe pour des crétins geeks déconnectés de la réalité par certains... Les faits sont là : on a un réseau social qui marche, y'a des habitudes à prendre mais rien d'insurmontable. Et au final, on est détaché d'un truc privé, on est pas enfermé par une instance, et ça marche bien.
Merci, donc, pour ce retour d'expérience.

@worldofgeese ok. There are others things that you could do to enhance the article. For example using init containers, docker entry points, and not using the default NS. But it's OK.

@worldofgeese And to answer the question, when you create your helm chart by changing values, variables, and so on... Katenary does it automatically. Actually, what you did in the article takes a few seconds with Katenary.
@worldofgeese I read when I've got time, but actually yes, there are some points that I don't agree 🙂 E.g. "You'll never scale past one machine because Compose is single node only." => Compose allow the use of Swarm for example
I'm seriously getting tired of this #Microsoft #Teams crap that puts the "meet" link in a tag, so Thunderbird, or any other mail client worth its salt, does NOT SEE THE LINK. Seriously, at MS you don't respect ANYTHING.

@dada bah... Le Dev1-S à 9.99€/mois il est "pas cher" pour ce qu'il est chez scaleway. Après je ne sais pas quel est ton besoin en ressources mais rester en France avec des datacenter ecoresponsables à ce prix... J'en vois pas beaucoup pour le moment.

Dernier détail sur mon aventure à l’hôpital… amené par un équipage de pompiers, pris en charge en urgence, 1h30 de bloc et son armement (matériel et personnels) 3 jours en chambre et son armement matériel et personnels)… des médocs, un peu d’appareillage, une ambulance pour rentrer à la maison…
Contribuable français, pour tout ça, on te demande seulement de mettre à jour ta carte vitale…
La puissance de l’impôt, c’est ça aussi.
@worldofgeese short answer is "katenary does more things" but kompose is a good tool. Not made for the same goal. Kompose builds an asset to deploy, katenary creates a distributable chart.
@worldofgeese it's not exactly the same. Katenary creates a helm chart with several values that you can change, it also creates init containers to wait services and I'm currently developing the dependency management.
There a many bugs I fixed.
Next release will be fully documented and production ready. The company where I work is testing it a lot.
