rebased the Kinoite VM to Sericea (AKA Fedora Silverblue but with Sway instead of GNOME); the last time I tried a tiling window manager was i3, back in August 2018 for like...a day or two. so of course I jumped in without reading any docs

took me about 5 minutes to figure out how to open Rofi (app launcher)

that might sound bad, but tbh I'm tempted to rebase my Pinebook Pro to Sericea

update: I did it

I'm actually pleasantly surprised how intuitive Sway (or at least how it's configured in Sericea, if this isn't default) is to operate without checking any configs or docs yet

update 2: had an issue with the included terminal giving errors in toolbox, but that's fixed now

but anyway, unsurprisingly, runs a lot better than GNOME. I don't use the PBP too heavily, so I don't know how extensively I'll be testing out Sericea, but I think I'm gonna leave it on here for a while

@Akzel 😔 internet down until Friday. I will wait to make the update or use my mobile to share the connection. I wanted to do it tonight...

I never have issue with internet. Murphy decided to target me today.
